Pat MacAuley has been appointed MOG 48 Chairman. Numerous other club members have already volunteered to assist Pat and the rest of the MOG 48 team. The meet weekend will focus on attendee interaction and a simpler, easy going event schedule.
The tentative schedule: Registration and a welcoming reception Friday afternoon followed by an evening Noggin. Saturday will begin with an AM Concours, an early afternoon Rally, followed by a Gymkhana. Saturday evening, the Awards Banquet will be preceded by a Cocktail Hour and followed by another Noggin. On Sunday, attendees will be able to choose from among several optional activities, or take a leisurely trip home.

The rate is $109.00 per night plus taxes for King, Double/double or ADA (disable adapted) rooms which regularly go for $149.00 per night. These are in the Main Hotel and have recently been refurbished. There are slightly less expensive rooms available in the adjacent (connected) “Veranda” section (not recently refurbished-but nice), if you wish. In addition, if you want a balcony room in the Main Hotel, you can request one, but they are about $169.00 per night. In my opinion, the reserved rooms are the best value.
